Job Description:

As a Business Analyst at Unacademy's Kota center, you will play a vital role in driving data-driven decision-making and business strategy formulation to support the growth and success of our offline educational programs. You will be responsible for analyzing business data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize operations, improve performance, and enhance the overall student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sales, admissions, student performance, operational efficiency, and other key metrics to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.

2. Forecasting and Modeling: Develop statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future performance, anticipate market trends, and support strategic planning and resource allocation.

3. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track the performance of various programs, courses, and initiatives, identifying KPIs and benchmarks to measure success and drive continuous improvement.

4. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, providing valuable insights for business development and growth strategies.

5. Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

6. Business Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization, streamlining workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.

7. Revenue Analysis: Analyze revenue streams, pricing strategies, and sales performance to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin improvement.

8. Customer Segmentation: Segment customers based on various criteria such as demographics, behavior, and preferences, enabling targeted marketing efforts, personalized communication, and customized offerings.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in business analytics or data science is preferred.

2. Proven experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles, preferably in the education sector or e-learning industry.

3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel, Tableau or Power BI.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

6. Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting, ensuring the integrity and reliability of insights and recommendations.

7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

8. Knowledge of the education industry, particularly the IIT-JEE and NEET coaching segment, would be advantageous.
