Job description
Responsibilities
- Landscaping Innovation: Explore and implement innovative landscaping techniques and technologies to enhance the aesthetic appeal and sustainability of the industrial township.
- Seasonal Planning: Develop and execute seasonal plans for landscaping and horticulture activities, ensuring year-round visual appeal and health of green spaces.
- Pest and Disease Management: Implement effective pest and disease control measures to maintain the health of plants and ensure the longevity of the landscape.
- Community Engagement: Foster community engagement initiatives related to landscaping and horticulture, organizing events or workshops to educate residents and promote a sense of pride in the environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about local regulations and environmental standards, ensuring all landscaping activities comply with legal requirements.
Additional Responsibilities for Copper Manufacturing Plant:-
- Copper Plant Integration: Collaborate with the plant's engineering and design teams to seamlessly integrate landscaping and horticulture plans with the overall infrastructure of the SVCT Township and Copper Manufacturing plant
- Industrial Sustainability: Implement landscaping strategies that contribute to the environmental sustainability goals of the manufacturing plant, promoting a green and eco-friendly atmosphere.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all landscaping activities adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards applicable to an industrial setting.
- Plant Perimeter Beautification: Design and maintain green spaces around the perimeter of the manufacturing plant, enhancing the visual appeal and providing a welcoming environment.
- Water Conservation: Implement water-efficient landscaping practices, considering the importance of water conservation in an industrial context.
- Understanding Industrial Processes:* Develop a thorough understanding of the copper manufacturing processes to align landscaping activities with the plant's operational needs.
- Employee Well-being: Implement landscaping elements that contribute to the well-being of plant employees, providing spaces for relaxation and recreation.
- Waste Management Integration: Explore landscaping methods that support waste management initiatives within the industrial facility, promoting a sustainable and clean environment.
Technology and IT Enablement
- Provide Landscape & Horticulture data and MIS/Reporting, Dashboards
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Science or Agriculture or related field
- Over 10 years of proven experience in landscape and horticulture management.
- Understanding of industrial processes, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Certifications in landscaping, horticulture, or environmental management are advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
