Job description

Technical Manager will be responsible to manage team of Assistant Managers and Service coordinators.

Responsibilities 1. Understand technical queries from client and provide guidance to team on Manpower and Resources required. 2. Overview performance of Assistant Managers and Service Coordinators. Take daily meeting and discuss the job assigned. 3. Understanding the variation in scope of repair jobs, reporting it to client and ensuring additional quotes are provided on time. 4. Resolving queries from client. Meeting the clients and ensuring customer satisfaction. 5. Liaising with workshop team to ensure that quality and on time works are done. 6. Work with contractors for jobs that have to be outsourced 7. Prepare service and calibration reports of the work activities 8. Able to advise and recommend to the Technical Superintendent and Chief Engineer on faults/defects and operation of the machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's specification 9. Provide technical expertise on post repair or after-sale issues for resolution. Liaise with tech Supt or chief engineer till matter are resolved to client satisfaction

Qualifications Degree in Marine Engineering Sailing Experience will be preferred.
