Production In-Charge - Ready to Eat (RTE) - Chokhi Dhani Foods
Lead the Way in RTE Production! Chokhi Dhani Foods, a leader in delicious and convenient ready-to-eat meals, seeks a passionate Production In-Charge to oversee our RTE division in Jaipur. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality production while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities: Plan & Schedule Production: Develop production plans that meet customer demands while optimizing resources. Create and manage schedules considering inventory and capacity. Champion Food Safety: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards. Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout production. Collaborate with QA to address product issues. Lead Your Team: Motivate your team to achieve production targets and maintain high quality. Conduct training, promote continuous improvement, and foster a positive team environment. Optimize Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall production performance. Manage Inventory: Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory. Collaborate with procurement to ensure a consistent supply of materials. Maintain Equipment: Work with maintenance to schedule and perform routine equipment checks. Ensure proper equipment function to prevent downtime. Communication & Collaboration: Foster open communication between production, quality control, and other departments. Collaborate with logistics, sales, and marketing to achieve business goals. Safety First: Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety audits/training for production staff. Document & Report: Maintain accurate production records, reports, and updates on performance, challenges, and achievements for senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 3-4 years of experience in food production management, preferably RTE products. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma) a plus.
