Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of credit analysts.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance the team's performance.

Quality Assurance:

• Review and assess credit applications and analyses prepared by the team for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards and policies.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards of credit analysis reports and applications

Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for process enhancement and recommend/implement improvements to streamline credit analysis procedures.
• Develop and update best practices, templates, and guidelines for efficient credit analysis.

Problem Resolution:

• Address escalated issues, disputes, or complex cases related to credit analysis, providing solutions and guidance to team members.
• Act as a point of contact for resolving conflicts or discrepancies in credit applications.

Compliance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, company policies, and risk management protocols in all credit analysis activities.
• Implement measures to mitigate risks associated with credit assessments and applications.

Education, Experience and Skills Required

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) would be advantageous.

- Minimum 12 years of banking Industry (specialist in Credit Analysis) broad based experience with atleast 6 years in credit .

- Strong knowledge of wholesale banking products, such as corporate loans, trade finance, and cash management services.

- Proficient in interpreting complex financial statements, cash flow models, and industry-specific trends.

- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful credit recommendations.

- Effective communication and presentation skills, enabling you to articulate credit analysis and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple credit analyses and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Sound knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements related to credit risk management.
