Job description
Role Description :
You will be responsible for the design & development of Mechanical systems of Quick interchange stations (QIS) – Structure, mechanisms, style engineering and product integration from concept to launch. You will also be responsible for designing the solution based on various principles for ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency etc. Core Responsibilities: • Creating technical requirements from Marketing/ Business requirements. • Create multiple /Alternate concepts of components and product. • Develop and maintain mechanical parts and assemblies includes design with good knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D detailed layouts using CAD software like, Creo etc. • Expert Knowledge of Plastics & Sheet Metal component designs. • Should be experienced & knowledge of problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis and provide solutions where required. • Integration of all sub system with electrical, electronics, software etc. • Handle assigned projects, components & big assemblies with ownership & end to end responsibility. • Design of Battery / EV charging systems is an added advantage. • Experience on Creo software for 3D modeling and detailing is mandatory. • Must have experience working on parts / assemblies, concept prototyping to Launch with all cross functions like, manufacturing, procurement, supply Chain, quality etc. • Should handle all design activities like, mockups, builds. • Must be capable of handling electro-mechanical complex systems. • Must have experience in defining tests for verification & validation. • Should be experienced in creating and handle documents relate to processes like, DFMEA, DVP, DFA, DFM, prototyping etc. • Knowledge and experience of GD & T and hand on Tolerance stack UP. Ideal Candidate (Experience, Qualification, Previous Work-ex, Companies etc.) Bachelor of Engineering /or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering /Automobile Engineering with 6 to 7 years of work experience in the industry.
