Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Academic Counselor to join our team at Vibrant Staffing Solutions Pvt Ltd. As an Academic Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic journey. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in educational sales, counseling, student counseling, career counseling, and lead generation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Proven experience in educational sales, counseling, student counseling, career counseling, and lead generation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Knowledge of educational systems and college admission processes
- Passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and counseling to students regarding their educational and career goals
- Assist students in understanding academic requirements, course selection, and program planning
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, interests, and goals
- Develop personalized academic plans for students, taking into account their individual needs
- Provide support and assistance during the college application and admission process
- Organize and conduct workshops and presentations on various educational and career-related topics
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in education and career counseling
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the academic counseling department
