Job description

As a pre-sales associate, you'll work towards mapping customers’ requirements, propose a commercially viable solution, and help the sales team close the opportunity. The role involves working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches and helping them qualify and close sales opportunities. You'll be actively involved in the ‘lead to closure’ cycle for sales opportunities including preparing responses to RFPs/RFIs and managing vendor risk management processes. For vendor risk management, the role would involve collaborating with the risk team. Additionally, the role would entail supporting the demand generation processes and eventually owning the demand generation function. This is a new role within the pre-sales team at Oxane Partners to cater to the needs of the growing business. The pre-sales team is responsible for supporting the sales conversions by leading the process along with the sales team. This role sits within the growing sales and marketing team. The role will enable exposure across various facets of B2B pre-sales and sales processes.

Key Responsibilities: Preparation Support the product demonstration set-ups and continuously enhance them in line with the development of the platforms Support sales efforts by building in-depth expertise in the allocated areas Maintain knowledge of industry trends with proactive research

Demand Generation Craft compelling sales campaigns and an outreach strategy to generate SQLs Manage the internal CRM for various sales opportunities

Designing Solutions Offering Coordinate with different stakeholders and internal teams for the required support in creating the solutions offering Craft relevant and powerful sales pitches to support the sales team’s efforts Take an active role in creating a value proposition, product/service positioning, and change management challenges associated with any sale

Pitch Manage the bidding process by responding to RFIs and RFPs Work with the design teams, both in-house and external, to come up with effective representations and pitch collaterals Ensure successful execution of proof of concept (PoC) projects Deliver and support product demonstration for prospects and clients

Risk & Marketing Support Work closely with the risk team to own the vendor due-diligence processes Synthesize sales inputs received in various pitches to feed into the marketing function Support the creation of marketing collaterals for the areas/pitches handled

Required Experience/Skillset: Excellent verbal communication and impeccable written communication skills A ‘sharp eye’ to build sophisticated PowerPoint presentations with the ability to represent various concepts and ideas visually Self-driven attitude to drive the growth engine by working closely with sales and marketing team members Experience in working with European and US clients would be highly valued Attention to detail and a research-oriented approach to sales Stellar teamwork, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial fast-paced environment Experience in pre-sales or business analysis (or a strong desire to build a career in the area) in a B2B set-up preferably within financial services and technology businesses Expertise in developing effective presentations/pitches Strong commercial skills including an understanding of complex B2B sales cycles Ability to operate with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent action The desired candidate must have an MBA degree with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience Prior experience working in BFSI, capital markets, alternative investments industry, or private markets would be highly valued
