Position Description : This is a full-time remote role for an Estimator. will be responsible for estimating project costs, managing budgets, and controlling costs for outdoor services businesses. The Estimator will analyse data and prepare detailed estimates for projects and liaise.
Roles amp; Responsibilities - Will be responsible to read and understand complex construction drawings/blueprintsamp; work to create strong proposal and estimation accordingly
- Willbe responsible for the oversight of the estimating process as well as overseeing standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating deliverables
- Researches and reviews construction and design documents and analyzes specifications to create best possibly take off estimates
- HVAC/Mechanical–will take ownership and will do the detailed ductwork takeoff andmechanical piping takeoff by using plans as well as the riser diagram and doing the HVAC (equipment's) takeoff asper schedule.
- Electrical-You will verify the plans with cross sectional drawings. Should be able to do the takeoff for lighting, Conduits, Electrical power distribution, feeders, panels, andtransformers etc., by using the plans as well as a single line diagram.
- Plumbing-will be responsible for detailed Piping takeoff by using the plans as well as riser diagrams and the takeoff of plumbing Fixtures and equipment's as per the given schedule.
- Prepares quantity take-offs and estimates costs of materials
- Manages, supports, and assists with the training of the estimating staff
- Identifies and evaluates all the technical issues that are related to projects
- Ensures the flow of project information is maintained and documented.
- Ensures that a quality submission is made every time
- Ability to work independently on big scale projects
Skills And Qualifications - Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Civil Engineering)
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in theUS construction quantity estimating industry.
- Good experience on all construction divisions
- Hands-on expertise with estimating tools such as Planswift, Buebeam, and OST, as well as the ability to swiftly adapt to new software
