Job description
We want to hire 4 specialists (SME Role) in India to support investigations to come onboard in 2024. Location in HYD with WFO as a mandatory requirement. At a high-level we are looking for candidates demonstrating the ability to independently conduct investigative work using commonly available tools, with specific expertise in various fields. The candidates need to have a proven track record on both investigations as well as executive level writing and reporting in order to visualize their findings succinctly and efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
. Conduct independent research based on direction provided by PgM and the project team to discover modus operandi, bad actor archetypes and abuse vectors/TTPs
. Provide key insights reports on abuse trends based on following
. Independent assessment of abuse trends
. Specific research methodology prescribed as a part of project plan
. Regularly report on progress in OSINT investigations and provide feedback candidly.
. Identify novel abuse trends through research and analysis
. Past experience in investigating financial crimes/investigative journalism
. Very strong written communication skills
. Experience in fraud analytics
. Proven track record or writing reports consumed at executive level (structured writing and report building)
. Past experience in OSINT tools
. Past experience using corporate registries, reviewing public databases to identify individuals, companies behind an activity. Past experience synthesizing open source intelligence research
. Data driven approach to answering questions
. Past experience conducting open-source intelligence research
. Highly proficient in using tools commonly available online for research
. Skilled at synthesizing information from various sources and determining the key takeaways.
. Experience conducting investigations into social engineering or legal matters
General Qualifications
. Minimum qualification of graduation from a government recognized university
. Minimum tenure of 36+ months working as a fraud/crime investigator or investigative journalist
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
