Job Title: Assistant Manager-HR
Function: Human Resources
Location: Lonavala

Primary Purpose

To support Manager – Human Resources in designing and execution of effective Human Resources strategy for the Company; additionally support in specific initiatives for organization effectiveness.
Major skills and accountabilities of position (4-6 major accountabilities)

1. Should have experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
2. Should have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.
3. Ability to delegate authority and responsibility.
4. Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Compile statistical data and create/prepare reports and analysis using the existing systems and records.
2. Develop and maintain appropriate employment records and systems.
3. Employee Welfare and Building competencies in employees.
4. Performance Management System.
5. To support all HR activities including Pre & Post recruitment.
Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report)
1. Reports to Director – HR
2. Interfaces strongly with all department heads and employees

Key figures - provide key data of the job e.g. budget, number of reports etc
1. Annual budget for HRD Rs.____ million
2. No of employee related policies:
3. Recruitment cycle time: 30 business days
4. Number of direct reports :
5. Total number of employees: 1500 (On roll/Contract)

Key success factors - how is the success in the position measured
1. Effective HR support to all functions
2. Effective recruitment solutions within the required time frame

Experience and qualifications required for the job

Postgraduate qualification in HRM from a reputed institute with minimum of 4-5 years of experience in HR.
