Job Title: ServiceNow Application Service Mapping Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow professional to join our team as a ServiceNow Application Service Mapping Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in ServiceNow Application Service Mapping to enhance our IT Service Management (ITSM) capabilities. You will play a key role in mapping and understanding the relationships and dependencies between various applications, servers, databases, and infrastructure components.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize ServiceNow Application Service Mapping to discover, map, and visualize the relationships between applications, servers, databases, and other infrastructure components.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, development, and business units, to gather information and ensure accurate representation of application dependencies.
3. Implement and maintain ServiceNow Service Mapping configurations to support ongoing mapping efforts and ensure the accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
4. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into ServiceNow Application Service Mapping requirements.
5. Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ServiceNow Application Service Mapping.
6. Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in ITSM, Service Mapping, and related technologies.
7. Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to customize and enhance Service Mapping functionalities based on business needs.
8. Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to ServiceNow Application Service Mapping processes and configurations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in ServiceNow Application Service Mapping, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB.
3. Solid understanding of ITIL practices, particularly in the area of Configuration Management.
4. Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
6. ServiceNow certifications related to Service Mapping and ITSM are highly desirable.
7. Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.) for customizing Service Mapping configurations.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

(1.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (2.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (3.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives. (4.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
