Job description
- Ability to manage a single large Business Unit or multiple small Business Units Independently or with minimal supervision
- Lead a team of 2-3 members.
- Build and Operate practices specific to the Business and drive a couple of organizational wide initiatives.
- Work with leaders to create a comprehensive people plan that is built for scale, keeping the business environment and priorities.
- Provide thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
- Be a culture evangelist and ensure that decisions, processes, and practices align with the culture map.
- Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue. Design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions.
- Leverage data to solve strategic to tactical related people problems.
- Own the people plan and drive outcomes through a strong partnership with Talent Acquisition, Employer branding and engagement, Rewards, and L&D team.
- Coach and mentor different stakeholders right from giving strategic coaching to executives to helping employees plan their career path.

Experience and Qualifications
- You are an HR thought leader with strong conceptual knowledge of HR disciplines - career management, coaching and mentoring, performance management, employee engagement, recognition programs, and strategic development.
- 10+ years of HR business partnering or generalist experience supporting leaders in the banking or financial services sector.
- You have experience in setting up practices and policies for operations teams from scratch.
- You should be an excellent communicator and should be able to articulate your thoughts in a simple and understandable manner in order to translate that into key decisions and action items.
- You can take people-related decisions independently.
- You are passionate about innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
- You have coached and mentored at the leadership level.
