About The Job
Main Duties and Functions – (Specialized Nutrition, Dairy & Water)
- Cash Forecasting and Investment of surplus cash
- Preparation of short term (monthly and foreward 2 months) cash flow forecasts in coordination with other teams in finance
- Lead and drive weekly cash committee meeting for monthly forecasting and actual landing discussion with the Finance team
- Review cash flow and forecasts to decide on net surplus and place FDs at the best possible rates.
- Treasury – Accounting
- Review all bank statements and ensure that entries for all have been passed in SAP
- Follow up with accounts receivable team to clear open items in SAP
- Ensure timely payment runs; timely approvals on portal by authorisers
- Weekly updation of payment details in SAP/ vendor Portal
- Storage of supporting documents for direct payments viz., foreign payments, tax challans 3. Effective, complete and timely Hedging and accurate closure of Foreign payments
- Ensure complete and timely hedging of foreign payments as per Danone treasury policy.
- Monitoring of hedged transactions and track utilization of covers;
- Ensure timely roll-overs or cancellation of hedged transactions while minimizing cost to the company
- Ensure complete documentation and liaison with banks to ensure timely and accurate release of foreign payments
- Ensuring Controls in process, Reporting and Audits-
- Accurate and timely reporting of all treasury information as per internal reporting requirements
- Preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements within defined timelines
- Ensure all treasury processes comply with Danone control requirements
- Ensuring timely completion of audit for the treasury and banking function
- Maintenance of all documents as per local laws.
- Ensuring efficient and strong relationship with Bankers
- Ensure weekly, monthly meetings with all bankers for any issues, help required from various bank to ensure smooth flow of transactions
About You Education
- B.Com / M.Com with 5-6 years of Treasury experience OR
- CA-Inter Experience Needed
- SAP experience is a must
- Sound accounting fundamentals
- Good communication skills
