What this job involves: - EPM developer will develop and support the EPM system at JLL. This includes design, development, configuration, and testing of EPM modules.
- Identify business requirements, translating business requirements into functional and technical design, building prototypes, creating process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), leading testing and training activities, defining support procedures and SLAs and supporting implementations post go-live.
- Understand the business processes, how the application supports the business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems.
- Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality.
- Possess strong expertise in all the EPM components and help is identifying solutions to complex scenarios.
- Essbase BSO and ASO cubes – Outlines, dimensions, measures, members, metadata administration with ability to design databases and complex calculations.
- Design, build and troubleshoot cubes and related objects.
- Employ knowledge of Essbase to facilitate better deployment of Planning, application security, and other interface tools.
- Develop easily maintainable solutions for ongoing tasks.
- Must to have RESTful API and EPM Automation experience.
- Automation, SQL, Batch scripting, EPM Automate Data Loads, batch jobs.
- Provide alternatives based on best practices and application functionality.
- Create test plans, test cases and test scripts and perform functional testing.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Provide training and documentation for supported applications.
- Ensure that appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of master data, including performing & reporting on periodic audits.
- Ensure that all relevant parties are timeously informed of master data changes.
- Contribute to achievement of master data performance and quality standards as defined by service level agreements.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement that increase efficiency and effectiveness of MDM processes.
- Seek to drive the highest standards of customer service to Finance teams globally.
Sound like you To apply you need to be: - Experience In Oracle Planning Cloud including Strategic Modeling, Financials, Projects, Capital, and Workforce Modules.
- Experience in Essbase BSO and ASO cubes, Build/Enhance Hyperion Financial Reports.
- Knowledge of Metadata management and update to downstream application to EPM and Essbase ASO is mandatory.
- Experience in Calculation Manager including Groovy Scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL query in Oracle & SQL Data base will be a plus.
- The candidates should have the ability to understand user requirements in EPM and Finance domain and convert them into design specs and architecting solutions.
- We require candidates who can lead and support Hyperion application.
- Candidate having experience in end-to-end Hyperion EPM Implementation and Support.
- The candidates should be able to understand the existing system and do the reverse engineering on the existing system.
- Strong financial and analytical skills and an advanced understanding of the financial planning process is additive.
- Automation of Metadata/Data load script using epmAutomate and PowerShell commands.
- Implementation experience of above products including:
- Analyzing and documenting business requirements.
- Writing functional specifications.
- Testing and troubleshooting.
- Interfacing with clients and business users.
- 6-10 yrs EPM / Hyperion Planning administration experience.
- At least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
- Oracle Data Management or FDMEE experience.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and Smart View.
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Good understanding of how data flows and systems work.
- Understanding of Budgeting and Forecasting related Leading Practices.
- Experience with Financial statements to include Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Self-motivated, confident, and energetic.
- Proactive and able to work with remote oversight; demonstrates initiative, autonomy and independence.
