About the role

Manages a department that include multiple teams led by managers and/or supervisors of Accounts Payable professionals. Implements new strategies and processes for Accounts Payable to improve upon the established principles and monitor activities. Drives the development and implementation of Accounts Payable principles and procedures to achieve accurate financial statements. Oversees the preparation and presentation of Accounts Payable management reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements new strategies and processed for accounts payable to improve upon the current established strategies and processes.
• Implements Accounts Payable policies, procedures, and controls in order to drive continuous improvements to Account Payable processes.
• Oversees the preparation and presentation of Accounts Payable management reports.
• Manages the budget and forecast activities of the Accounts Payable discipline.
• Approves and executes recommended resolutions for Accounts Payable disputes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Managers the approval of payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Implements large-scale projects.

Requirements

Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments.

University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
or,
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years experience.
