Job Description:
- Training and Development – Needs identification to Learning assessment
- Talent Development & Management
- Succession planning - Organization Development
- Future Leadership Development
- Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices
- Practical experience with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills٫ with a good ability to build relations with employees and vendors;
- Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking
- Deliver workshops on topics based on needs that come up from time to time, including leadership, teaming, innovation, change, and any specialized topics across locations
- Work with key stakeholders including other plants, reporting managers, operations heads, and peers to identify upcoming needs and lead initiatives aimed at catering to these needs
- Lead and participate in projects to bring about best practices and standardization
- Play a key role in contributing to L&D goal setting and management
Essential skills required
- Position: Manager - Learning & Development
- Education / professional qualifications - MBA degree in HR/ Psychology or other related area; an additional certification in L&D and Psychology, Thomas profiling etc., will be an added advantage.
- Work Location: Hyderabad/ Needs to Travel Across plants
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience of which at least 6 in the L&D function of a large Organization, specifically in Manufacturing/Engineering/Infrastructure Industry
- Strong experience in soft skill & Personality development, motivation, team work etc., trainings & Have excellent written and spoken English skills
Behavioral/team skills
- Demonstrate an expert working knowledge of L&D concepts, theories, and processes
- Have a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Possess exceptional and demonstrable presentation and facilitation skills and have experience handling employees from multiple functions and from entry-level to middle and senior management
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Learning and Development Manager Responsibilities are:
- Prepare and implement learning strategies and programs
- Review individual and organizational development needs
- Deploy different kinds of learning methods companywide٫ such as coaching٫ job-shadowing٫ online training and so on
- Organize e-learning courses٫ workshops and other trainings
- Monitor the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
- Collaborate with managers to develop their team members through career pathing
- Oversee budgets and negotiate contracts
- Organize training activities
