Job description

The successful candidate will have responsibility for guiding the SAP Logistics and Distributions systems within the SAP core solution and landscape supporting the template deployment for Carrier s North American operations. This individual will partner with the Digital Factory and Operations team and other Digital (IT) COEs to define, design, deploy, and sustain the SAP LE-TMS solutions. Also, will be providing consultation and own TMS integrations with 3PL Solutions. There is a requirement to ensure alignment on solution design, cross-functional integration, and project implementation will result in a strategic, sustainable solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage assigned work activities; execute project plans; complete projects on-time and on budget.
• Design and develop: (test objectives, test cases, test data, and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system, and/or acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
• Facilitate blueprinting sessions and create/update blueprint, functional, and technical design documents.
• Work closely with external IT service providers for project-related activities.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are:

• Bachelor s degree.
• 9+ years of experience hands-on in system configuration and integrations in LE and SD Module
• 5+ years experience in configuration and implementation of complete SAP TMS
• 3+ years experience LE 3rd party transportation planning solution configuration and testing experience.
• 3+ full life cycle implementations experience, also needed production support experience.
• 7+ years experience in requirement gathering, master data, customization, configuration, and testing/training.
• 5+ years experience with business processes for manufacturing business (MTS / MTO / ETO) models.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):

• SAP TM Transportation Management -
• Seeking SAP TM Architect and SME with 5+ years of (hands-on) resource in SAP Transportation Management (TM9.0 and above versions), preferably in embedded setup on S/4 HANA.
• Familiar and hands-on with LSP and shipper scenarios. Specific areas of focus are - freight planning and optimizer.
• Must have a full understanding of the planning cockpit.
• Client-facing skills - clarity, communication, and E2E architecting experience in TM is paramount. Should not need hand holding or learner on the job.
• Resource should be able to drive discovery sessions, gather requirements, understand customer pain points, and provide design-driven solutions for existing and future states with customers.
• Good working knowledge and experience communicating and collaborating with carriers for EDI interface.
• Should possess a thorough understanding of TM integration touchpoints SAP SD, Procurement, EWM/IM modules.
• Lead and provide solutions for Transportation Parcel functionality And other responsibilities.
• Resource should be able to drive discovery sessions, gather requirements, understand customer pain points, and provide design-driven solutions for existing and future states with customers. Ability to multitask and respond to deliverables promptly.
• Good working knowledge and experience communicating and collaborating with carriers for EDI interface.
• Should possess a thorough understanding of TM integration touchpoints SAP SD, EWM/IM modules.
• Provide production and post-go-live support to customers for the existing solution within the time frame per project SLAs.
• A person should be able to execute test scripts, train testers and manage triage and resolution of defects/incidents promptly.
