Job description

We are looking for a talented MSBI (Microsoft Business Intelligence) Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack. As an MSBI Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, develop ETL processes, and create reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Design and develop ETL processes using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into data warehouses or data marts.
- Design and develop multidimensional and tabular data models using SSAS to support analytical reporting and data visualization requirements.
- Develop interactive reports, dashboards, and scorecards using SSRS and other visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Perform data analysis and data profiling to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency within BI solutions.
- Optimize and tune BI solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability, and troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
- Collaborate with database administrators, data architects, and other members of the BI team to design and implement data warehouse architectures and best practices.
- Document technical designs, data mappings, and solution architectures, and provide technical documentation and user training as needed.
