Responsible to build and lead an Indian sales team to achieve and grow the current business within the next Years to a considerable size in line with Growth Plan
Translate 'Group Application Segment Plans' (how to win and where to play) into actionable local growth plans.
Collaboration with a functional team of Customer Service, Finance, Supply chain and Strategic Account Managers to work seamlessly on the Growth of the Market
Responsible for achieving the defined objectives regarding profitable growth & margins in the right customers and segments.
Strong Focus on funnel-management to stimulate the sales team prospecting opportunities and coaching/guiding how to effectively close.
Ensuring the field sales team is executing against growth plans by accurate performance tracking of Key Performance Indicators within a disciplined operating model.
Be a results-oriented leader who can motivate and align the sales team in execution of the group strategy. Great communication and influencing skills needed.
Ensure the sales team is aligned with the company's mission to position the company as Protection engineering partners to customers in high-value segments.
Engagement with other sales leaders to implement a best practice model and knowledge sharing
The Successful Applicant
Possess a minimum of 10-15 years' experience in B2B sales/business development roles (+5 of which should include leading a sales team).
Experience in companies where technical/consultative sales and solutions-based models prevail.
A track record within a similar B2B industry oriented to technical, high-value and consultative selling.
Proven experience in a similar context and leadership ability, combined with drive and energy. The position requires a high level of communication and negotiation skills. The person must be able to rapidly build and sustain credibility as a leader.
Ability to develop a strong strategic view and ability to translate the tactical and operational across all levels in the organization in order to achieve achieve the strategic goal.
Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills from the front line to the board (explaining the 'Why' and 'How' at stake) with good presentation & report writing skills.
Strong people management as well as collaboration and internal and external influencing skills, motivating and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to inspire team members but equally holds team accountable, a natural leader.
In-depth understanding of the sales process and value-based selling.
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and presentation skills.
Self-starter and able to motivate teams to produce high quality performance and reporting within tight time frames
Bachelor's degree, in business, supply chain, engineering or related curriculum.
