Job description
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business
analysts, to ensure product quality.
● Collaborate with the product managers and development squads to develop, document, and
execute test plans and test cases based on acceptance criteria and user problems.
● Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for
our new product features and solutions.
● Execute manual testing and use automated testing tools to validate the functionalities and
performance of our application emulating user behavior.
● Identify and document software defects, issues, and inconsistencies and report them
appropriately to the product manager and squad.
● Support in regression testing, verifying issue resolutions, and preventing the introduction of new
defects in the new iterations and deployments.
● Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test
scripts, and test data.
● Assist in the validation of software requirements and technical design documents to ensure they
meet project specifications.
● Help in troubleshooting and providing support for production issues related to quality and testing.
● Develop and prepare quality data, pass/fail rates and metrics on the testing process.
● Support in the monitoring of software performance after software deployment to prevent
reoccurrence of any potential problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
Skills and Requirements
● Strong diligence and the ability to identify and document user problems or areas where the
solution did not meet user standards effectively.
● Basic understanding of software development methodologies and quality assurance processes.
● Familiarity with test case design and test execution techniques.
● Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, Testmo or TestRail).
● Effective communication and collaboration skills.
● Willingness to learn and adapt to recent technologies and tools.
● Strong critical thinking skills and a passion for ensuring product quality.
