Job description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Very good understanding of GD&T and first principal inspection.
- Improve DOL (Green & Red channel) performance.
- Liaison with SQE team by communicating the supplier non-conformances and ensure the action plan through 8D/SCAP format. Monitor the effectiveness of the action taken.
- Inspection of critical components (Like Crack Case, Cylinder head, piston, Gears and Valves)
- Very good understanding of Surface roughness parameters, Roundness, cylindericity.
- Monitor Vendor rejection & Implement sampling inspection techniques through Statistical tools
- Ensure gauges / equipment calibration and MSA study as per plan.
- Conduct detailed analysis of assembly line concerns and field failure part.
- Release the Weekly/monthly MIS report of Supplier quality performance
- Monitor & improve component Audit process
- Support customer quality for analysis of field issues & implementation of new projects
- Monitor & improve traveller card, NOVA C issues of, Engine & transmission aggregate.
- Standardize & upgrade Supplier inspection system across AS.
Experience 5 to 8 years in Automobile Ind, working in Supplier Quality Assurance
Qualifications Industry Preferred Diploma / BE Mechanical Engineering
- Basic System knowledge of APQP
- PPAP
- Quality tools for problem solving
- Basic Microsoft Programming
- SAP Awareness ( End User)
Basic knowledge of CAD & IGS
