Job Summary:
As the Director of Front-End Sales with an IT background, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our front-end sales team, focused on selling our IT products and services. You will leverage your extensive industry knowledge and experience to develop and execute strategic sales plans, mentor and guide your team and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Â Develop and execute strategic sales plans for our IT products and services, aligning them with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Â Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing front-end sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.
- Client Engagement: Â Personally engage with key clients and prospects, building strong relationships and addressing their IT needs effectively.
- Product and Industry Knowledge: Â Stay up-to-date with the latest IT industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to provide informed guidance to the team.
- Sales Process Optimization: Â To enhance efficiency and effectiveness, continuously improve and optimize front-end sales processes, from lead generation to closure.
- Sales Forecasting: Â Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and goals, and provide regular reports to senior management on progress and challenges.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Â Collaborate with product development, marketing, and support teams to ensure that the IT solutions offered align with client needs and expectations.
- Customer Satisfaction: Â Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support, and addressing client concerns promptly.
- Performance Metrics: Â Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the front-end sales team and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in IT sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams, including remote teams.
- Deep industry knowledge and a strong professional network in the IT sector.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Experience: Â 12 to 15 years of relevant IT sales experience
