The Sr. Cloud Engineer will be part of ADI's Global IT Infrastructure team and bring demonstrated experience with architecture, design and engineering of technology modernization, cloud adoption and DevOps solutions using AWS or Azure or, Google cloud services. She/he will deploy tools and methodologies required for secure implementation of solutions within public, private, hybrid and multi-clouds to provide applications migration and modernization, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Container as a Service (CaaS) and Serverless offerings. The Engineer will work closely with architects and other engineers to build secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in the cloud for ADI's Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Digital Marketing as well as Business and Enterprise Applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with engineering, operations, networking, and security teams to ensure that all deployments and workloads in the cloud meet ADI's compliance requirements.
. In addition to the responsibilities of Automation Engineer,
. Act-as go-to for infrastructure org wide automation brain-trust
. Architecture the frame work of automation purpose: (a) to serve self-service with autonomous user experience and (b) identify opportunities to automate infrastructure tasks
Proficiency in at least one IaC languages Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc
Required qualification:
. A Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
. AWS/AZURE/GCP certified professional
. Infrastructure deployment and operations role.
. Demonstrated technical expertise around deploying, securing and managing infrastructure, systems and application design using cloud-native tools and open-source technologies.
. Minimum 5 + years e xperience with using Python, Terraform and Ansible to leverage Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) and Policy as Code ( PaC ) tools, and building secure and compliant cloud environments using these tools
. Capacity to work in a virtual team environment as well as independently with minimal direction
. Wide range of infrastructure, security and automation skills and experience working in a DevOps team
