Company Description We are an early-stage US technology startup working at the intersection of fintech and healthcare, with the aim to disrupt the US healthcare industry. Our founder has around 20 years of experience in building SaaS solutions in fintech and other industries at top employers like Amazon. We are led by advisors with decades of experience leading AI/ML product and engineering teams, and healthcare industry veterans.
Role Description We are looking for a dynamic AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in developing innovative solutions, with experience in startup environments preferable. As a Principal/Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will take the lead in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning models and solutions. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify opportunities and provide customized solutions. We are seeking quick leaners and candidates that are energetic to try new things while learning the developments that are happening in the Gen AI space and applying them to our roadmap. Responsibilities: Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for fintech applications and credit models. Design and deploy conversational AI solutions to engage in customer interactions. Utilize foundational models/ LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering to build meaningful and accurate AI solutions. Understand business context and design/build AI/ML solutions to solve for the business problems Take initiative as a self-starter to lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Work with US team members across time zones. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in AI/ML model development, deployment, and maintenance Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL Experience with Deep Learning, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Bayesian learning Expertise in popular AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras Experience in data collection, cleaning, and data analysis Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Demonstrated ability to build, train, and deploy scalable AI/ML models in production Knowledge of state-of-the-art generative AI models such as Claude, LLama, Mistral, and GPT4. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment Experience in financial services or healthcare domains is a plus. Startup experience is a significant advantage.
