Job Description and Requirements : Network operations Manager – will support L1 and L2 network global operations and maintain network infrastructure and provide a reliable and effective infrastructure for Synopsys. Evaluate, improve and implement new processes as well as Technologies to increase reliability, productivity and user experience.
Key Responsibilities ( Rotational Shift) · Network NOC (L1/L2) Manager · ITSM Network Queue Management (L1/L2/L3) · ITSM -Weekly/Monthly reports · Lead Network Vulnerability Patch Management · Maintain design/OS/Config Standards · Maintain/establish network/security standards, governance and compliance · Manage India vendor relations · support DC L1/L2 support · Support general expansion and upgrades -IN/APAC · Support M&A and facilities projects- IN/APAC · NOC -L1/L2 staff/training · Establish KPI measurements and reporting · Support 24/7 on-call rotation Educational and Preferred Experience: Bachelors of Engineering/Science fields with 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure/management role, master’s degree in a related field, or 10 years of IT management/engineering experience Strong understanding of the ITIL framework with in-depth knowledge and experience incident management, problem management, change management, knowledge management and other disciplines related to service delivery Experience with several of the following technical areas: Network switches/routers/firewalls (Cisco preferred), Ansible. Create and maintain documentation of network processes, procedures and create SOP for task which are repeated. Identify and solve problems related to overall infrastructure performance, efficiency, and availability in a timely manner Contribute in Network support ticketing and provide timely resolution for end user issues Adhere to change control policy requirements Thorough knowledge of ITSM best practices and supporting systems. Management/supervisory experience Excellent logical troubleshooting skills Ability to communicate effectively with direct reports, senior management, and other departments Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment Preferred qualifications Industry certifications relevant to the role (CCNP/CCNA,ITIL/ITSM related certifications) Experience with ITOps/AIOps and the automation of systems Familiar with Cisco ACI and Nexus Data Center switching Experience in SDWAN , Cloud , Wireless , Zscaler , Palo Alto Firewalls , VPN Solutions Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network fundamentals. Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco router and switches Ability to analyze network packet captures Ability to work after hours to support projects and maintenance activities. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
