Job Description We have a new and exciting opportunity for a
Travel & Expense Manager to join our Finance team in Hyderabad, India
. We are seeking a highly motivated, people-focused professional to join our existing team of like-minded and experienced employees.
Working as part of the Group Finance team, you will drive the Travel programme ensuring smooth integration and use of the Group travel booking system (NAVAN) and long-term management and support of user requirements whilst keeping within the parameters of the travel strategy and keeping abreast of industry best practice.
What will you do - Set overall global parameters for travel booking
- Keep up to date with the industry and understand best practice to positively progress the IQEQ travel programme.
- Manage relationships and communications with leadership and functional leads to ensure the Travel system is used optimally and any system related issues resolved promptly and effectively.
- Act as the key point of contact for travel issue escalation working closely with the T&E systems administrator for timely resolution.
- Deliver travel system training and guides for new hires and Booker travel communication (monthly calls with travel champions)
- Produce Travel budget and Cost management reporting including identifying trends and opportunities for costs savings.
- Develop a suite of Navan system generated reports to ensure all stakeholder requirements are met. Stakeholders include IQEQ Cluster leads, Group Finance, Suppliers, Budget holders and Navan system users/approvers.
- Manage Navan relationship engaging in issue resolution, system development, contract negotiation and expansion projects.
- Drive expansion projects and integration of new businesses as part of acquisition plans.
- Source and negotiate special rates with hotels and other travel related providers to ensure best costs are available within the system at all times to support the overall Travel strategy.
- Complete onboarding for new suppliers in adherence with new supplier Due Diligence requirements.
- Provide guidance to the Group Finance teams around existing processes and operational improvements required to meet Navan and IQ EQ Group requirements.
- Develop the Travel and Expense policies ensuring these are configured within Navan ensuring adherence within the system and exception reporting is monitored and actioned.
- Proactively understand the configuration, maintenance requirements and user expectations within the Navan system.
Qualifications - Experience in a Business Travel & Expense Management role and in particular with use of a T&E system (experience of Navan, formerly Trip Actions is an advantage).
- Experience of working in a global multi-currency professional services business.
- Sound understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Microsoft Office experience.
