Job description
As a Structural Steel Modeler , you'll play a pivotal role in creating detailed steel models and drawings using Tekla software. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of steel detailing projects. Your responsibilities will include interpreting and analyzing structural and architectural drawings, generating material lists and reports, and performing quality checks to guarantee the accuracy and quality of steel models and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed steel models and drawings using Tekla/SDS2 software.
- Interpret and analyze structural and architectural drawings to develop accurate steel structures.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of steel detailing projects.
- Generate material lists and reports for project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and project requirements.
- Perform quality checks to guarantee the accuracy and quality of steel models and drawings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in steel detailing using Tekla software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of construction and structural engineering principles.
