Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Machine Learning Engineer located in Bengaluru. The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models. They should have strong experience in designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and frameworks, pattern recognition, neural networks, and statistics, and should be comfortable working with large-scale data sets. The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for analyzing the requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Advanced degree in an analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science,
- Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis) or substantial hands-on work experience in the space.
- Strong understanding of advanced data mining techniques, curating, processing and transforming data to produce sound datasets.
- Strong understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle - feature engineering, training, validation, scaling, deployment, scoring, monitoring, and feedback loop.
- Experience in Analysing complex problems and translating it into an analytical approach.
- Experience in building analytical frameworks such as cost benefit analyses, opportunity assessment, RCA to address Adhoc business problems as well as strategy Focussed problems
- Experience in Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning including Classification, Forecasting, Anomaly Detection, Pattern Detection, Text Mining, using variety of techniques such as Decision trees, Time Series Analysis, Bagging and Boosting algorithms etc.
- Experience with analytical programming languages, tools and libraries (Python ecosystem preferred, but R will be considered).
- Experience in SQL and relational databases, cloud (AWS) and big data technologies like Spark
- Good understanding of programming best practices and building for re-use.
- Strong communication, partnership and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform at high standards with limited supervision.
- A self-starter who is looking to build grounds up and contribute to the making of a potential big name in the space
- Experience in Banking and financial services is a plus. However, sound logical reasoning and first principles problem solving are even more critical
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in computer science and experience in implementing algorithms
- Experience in creating and deploying machine learning models using various frameworks
- Sound knowledge of neural networks and pattern recognition
- Strong statistical foundations
- Working knowledge of deep learning architectures is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience in the job recruitment industry would be beneficial.
