Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Crane Operator. The Crane Operator will operate and maintain heavy lifting equipment, inspect equipment for safety issues, and perform lifting operations using cranes. The Crane Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the crane in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Lifting Operations, Heavy Equipment, and Lifting Equipment skills
- Experience in inspecting and maintaining cranes and other heavy lifting equipment
- Knowledge of industry safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Physical stamina and ability to work in different weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training in heavy equipment operation or related field is a plus
- Valid crane operator certification is a plus
