Job description
Overview:
The Salesforce Developer plays a crucial role in designing building and customizing Salesforce applications to meet the needs of the organization. They are responsible for implementing new features and functionalities within the Salesforce platform ensuring seamless integration with other systems and providing technical expertise to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for Salesforce customization and development
- Design and develop custom solutions using Salesforce declarative and programmatic tools including Apex Visualforce Lightning components and other languages
- Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems such as ERP or marketing automation platforms
- Configure Salesforce settings objects fields workflows and processes to support business processes
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices and maintainable code
- Support deployment activities and collaborate with the release management team
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Salesforce configuration customization and integrations
- Stay updated with Salesforce updates releases and best practices and propose solutions to optimize the platform
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive innovation and efficiency using the Salesforce platform
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and/or II certification
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture data model and security
- Proficiency in Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components and Salesforce APIs
- Experience in designing and developing custom solutions and integrations within Salesforce
- Strong knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React
- Ability to work in Agile development environments and use source control tools like Git
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective solutions
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ Einstein Analytics or Marketing Cloud is a plus
