What You'll Do
This position will be responsible for driving One Part virual Events with SCM , Engg , Plant , leveraging spend data from Supplier Insights and Part Meta Data and related models from Enovia PLM t for part reuse, rationalization,resourcing , cost out oppurtunities. The incumbent will work with a specialized team within the Supply Chain Management Shared Services Center. The work will be process based, will deploy analytical models, and will involve close collaboration with Engineering, business stake holders and subject matter experts.
'1. Category Understanding for 2-3 Categories ( Mechanical / Electrical Components)
- Skills to Perform outlier analysis based on statistical methods to find cost out opportunities.
3 Skills on End to End cost out identification to Idea Maturity.
4 Lead Virtual Events.
5 Collaborate with Engineering to on Data Health /Cost out / VAVE opportunities related to part reuse and rationalization and VAVE.
6 Partner with cross functional team/s to improve the accuracy of spend and engineering data
7 Participate in governance meetings to review project status and health.
8 simple representative CAD model creation.
9 governance rigor for outcome through engagements.
10 Drive governance meetings to review project status and health.
11 Executing activities and working autonomously with minimal direction
12 Strengthening relationship with commodity managers and stakeholders
13 BOC by Training, Coaching to budding talents with Engg team.'
Qualifications Bachelors in Engineering OR Supply Chain Management
6-8 years of experience from Manufacturing OR Engineering background or Supply Chain Management
Skills 'Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Reporting and Analytics – Should have good experience on data mining, data analysis, report preparation and presentation to project & leadership team
Hands on experience of using CAD tools (AutoCAD, ProE, SolidWorks) will be an added advantage
Should be able to read and interpret the engineering drawings Knowledge on supplier spend analysis and data analysis (automation tools)'
