The Content Lead will spearhead the content writing team within the marketing department, driving the creation and execution of a cohesive content strategy that aligns with the companys objectives
This role involves collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams to develop content that resonates with our target audiences, enhances brand awareness, and drives engagement and conversions
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, determining the role of content in achieving business goals.
Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers and editors, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Editorial Oversight: Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience across all channels, including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print, and in-person.
Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation and publication of engaging, original content. Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor content performance and user engagement, adjusting strategies as needed to improve content effectiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing peers in advertising, search optimization, and email marketing, as well as with product teams, to create a unified approach to customer experience across all company touchpoints.
Market and Audience Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify content trends and audience preferences, ensuring content strategy adapts to changing market dynamics and customer needs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of content creation and strategy experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a content team.
Skills:
