We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Head to lead our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in brand building and developing effective go-to-market strategies. They should have a deep understanding of the edtech or SAAS industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive marketing initiatives that align with our company's mission and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement holistic marketing strategies, encompassing both digital and offline channels, to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services, ensuring a successful launch and sustained growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with product development and sales initiatives.
- Lead the development of the company's brand identity, positioning, and messaging to ensure a strong and consistent brand presence.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define and refine the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals.
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and setting clear objectives.
- Execute the creation of compelling marketing content, including website content, blog posts, social media, and email campaigns.
- Drive product launches, go-to-market strategies, and promotional activities to maximize product adoption and customer engagement.
- Analyze and report on marketing KPIs, using data to make informed decisions and refine marketing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market research to identify opportunities and threats.
- Establish and nurture relationships with external partners like media outlets, agencies, and influencers. Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
Skills and Competency
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the edtech/SAAS industry.
- Strong track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- A creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics to track and measure performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
