Job description
We are looking for a QA Tester to help us assess data quality through manual and automated testing. The responsibilities include but are not limited to Daily validation of various customer reports, portal data validation, analysis of the gathered data etc. The role will be based out of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
Responsibilities
Developing quality assurance strategies and carryout testing with QA teams.
Monitoring errors in the system and discussing them with other colleagues.
Analysis and execution of test cases, test results and issue logging.
Conducting Regression testing on daily basis.
Data verification and Data analysis of various reports
Analysis of customer requests and come up with use cases and test cases independently
Helping with bug detection and bug tracking.
Maintaining contact with test managers
Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
Experience of working as a tester or in a similar position
Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
Knowledge of testing software such as Selenium IDE and Selenium WebDriver
Knowledge of Agile frameworks and SDLC
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge in Test case management
Ability to think critically, analytically and efficiently solve problems
Experience in an automated test environment is a plus
Knowledge of e-commerce concepts and retail industry is a plus
