THE ROLE
Senior Sales Engineer - West
Location: Mumbai Experience: 9-17 yrs

Role Description
Sales/Pre-Sales Engineers at Seclore will collaborate with sales and other teams to identify and design the best solution that addresses our prospects' and customers' business needs. As a trusted technology advocate, you'll drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of enterprise customers through your passion for discovery, needs identification, solution design and presentation, solution consulting, and sales.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team and engage with prospective customers to introduce Seclore's products and solutions.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs and design/deliver high-quality C-level presentations and technical demos that meet them.
- Be the subject matter expert: develop an excellent understanding of Seclore's product portfolio and develop solutions that fully utilize the product capabilities.
- Handle the first level of prospect communication (phone, Online, or Physical) and qualify the prospect from a use case and technical perspective.
- Own and run the technical evaluation phases,
o Identify Scope – Understand the technical environment, technology landscape, business requirements, and evaluation scope.
o Pre-requisites – Discuss and agree on the users, prerequisites, infrastructure, test scenarios, and script.
o Technical Evaluation –documentation, user training, user handholding, address queries/concerns
o Technical Closure – Gather user feedback.
- Provide support to the Partner ecosystems in creating a best-fit solution for prospects/customers.
- Partner technical relationship management and enablement
- Work on the RFP bids, do solutions, and demos, and run proof-of-concept.
- Work with cross-functional teams like product management, product marketing, product delivery, engineering, and support to ensure an effective product sale.
- Be the voice of the customer: act as the liaison between the prospect/customer and product team.
- Must have worked in the field with customers directly and is expected to bring in existing relationships in key accounts managed with C-executives like CISO or above.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 9+ years' experience in an enterprise software company in a customer-facing field presales role.
- Fluency in English is a must
- Preferably worked at a security-focused software company
- Must be in a sales quota-driven role
- Demonstrated skills to creatively design and offer business solutions to prospect / customer needs
- Experience in conducting technical presentations, product demos, proofs-of-concept, user training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent soft skills with the ability to articulate complex technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, team-player with a clear focus on closing deals and bringing in business
- Knowledge of the channel ecosystem in North India
- Open to Travel as business demands
Qualification
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
- An MBA will be an added advantage
Plus
- Proficiency and understanding of multiple security technologies – Endpoint Security, Email Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, M365
- Understand different product offerings around Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification (DC), Encryption, Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), and Threat Protection.
- Certification in the knowledge areas related to information security.
- Any vertical-specific exposure like BFSI is good to have.
