Job description
- She/he will be responsible for managing financial transactions, book keeping, preparation of consolidated financial reports, scrutiny of documents related to financial transactions submitted by partners/staff for incurring project expenses.
- In addition, to provide data management support at district level.
- This includes collection of data from the field staff, data entry into software or excel based forms, data validation checks, training of field staff to minimise data entry errors, timely reporting of data to the District Program Manager.
- Local candidates who are domicile of the State for which the candidate is applied will be given priority.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the District Program Manager in implementation of OVC activities.
- Ensure development and implementation of ME plan with the field staff.
- Ensure data collection in time maintain the project data base.
- Coordinate with TIs other organisations to get the relevant data in time.
- Timely reporting and provide feedback on the data received from the field.
- Provide training on how to minimise data entry errors.
- Ensure documentation of all financial transactions as per the project guideline.
- Ensure day to day payments to the project staff as per the requirement.
- Prepare financial statements and reports along with all supporting documents send the same higher authority.
- Ensure timely payment for all project activities.
- Fund management including maintenance of financial system
- Coordinate and consult with District Program Manager for all transactions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Graduate (preferably Bachelor in Commerce or Accounting Practices)
- Having good knowledge on computer specially on Tally, Excel, data entry, power point etc
- Preference will be given to the candidate having knowledge on project accounting.
- Only local candidates with experience of working with NGOs or agencies that handle MIS and Accounting will be considered for shortlisting.
