Job Description: Software Tester (Automation Testing) at TechQuadra
Job Summary TechQuadra, a leading technology company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Software Tester with expertise in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, along with hands-on experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts. As a Software Tester at TechQuadra, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design appropriate test plans and strategies.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and system integration testing to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Execute and monitor automated test suites, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to software testing and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in an agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.
