Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Summary

As a IT Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT risks associated with our IT/Cloud Infrastructure, product development and research & development (R&D) activities. This position is central to maintaining the integrity of our cybersecurity infrastructure and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various IT and R&D projects, ensuring thorough evaluation of potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Maintain and update the risk register, ensuring accurate tracking of risk exposure, mitigation strategies, and residual risks.
  • Perform thorough assessments of the organization's security measures related to payment card data, ensuring alignment with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
  • Develop and refine risk management processes and procedures, aligning them with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Engage with internal teams to understand their specific risk landscapes, advising on risk mitigation strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate in the creation and continuous improvement of security policies and standards, ensuring they address identified risks effectively.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing security controls and policies, assessing their effectiveness in managing identified risks and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to embed PCI and SOC compliance requirements into daily operations.
  • Document and report on risk management activities, findings, and progress, providing clear and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between various departments and stakeholders for risk-related activities and remediation plans.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, adjusting risk management strategies accordingly.
  • Support the organization in internal and external audits, providing expertise in cybersecurity risk management.

We would love to chat if you have...

  • 2-4 years in cybersecurity risk analysis or related field.
  • 2 years working with PCI DSS, and SOC Compliance
  • A bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity or relevant industry certifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Products (Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Proficient in IT Risk Management & Assessments
  • Experience managing a risk register, and risk related documentation.
  • Knowledge of Information & Cybersecurity tools & systems
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Risk identification, rating, and mitigation strategies
  • Effective communication & collaboration skills
