Role: Senior SDET / Staff SDET Amagi Background Amagi is a leading provider of cloud-native SaaS technology for the media industry. Role reporting into: QA Manager Location: Bangalore, India Key Responsibilities: ● Design, development, and maintenance of both manual and automated tests. ● Managing and monitoring the test schedule and resources to deliver on time. ● Sharing daily status reports to manager and weekly status report to stakeholders. ● Managing test automation and test execution for multiple projects simultaneously. ● Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks, tools and infrastructure. ● Writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing including performance and identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects in the product. ● Collaborating with developers to resolve defects and ensure that the software meets quality standards. Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on software design and implementation. Keeping up-to-date with new testing techniques, technologies, and tools, and recommending improvements to the testing process.
Requirements You will excel at this role, if you have ● Strong Experience in Python, web services, HTML, XML, and experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or GCP. ● Experience in designing and building scalable automated test frameworks and test suites, working across technologies and analyzing the logs for failures and resolving in shortest time. ● Experience in optimizing application performance and troubleshooting runtime issues along with Participation in architectural and design discussions and ownership of project deliverables. ● Strong experience in Agile development methodologies and utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins,Chef, Sonar, and PowerMock for Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery. ● Experience in manual testing & performance testing, analyzing test logs, creating test reports and keeping the manager updated on the progress on a regular basis. ● Experience with Open Source Performance Testing Tools like Locust or JMeter. Also, experience with Golang, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus. ● Streaming Media Industry Experience or Server Side Ad Insertion industry experience is desired.
