Job Description:
* As a data platform architect, work with execution teams from thought to actions, offering deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying medium/large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on premise and cloud. * Construct comprehensive technical, security, data and operational architecture and design outlines featuring modern data technologies and cloud data services proving modernization value proposition. * Display skill by exhibiting technical topics in front of an audience. * Compare solution alternatives across both technical and business parameters which support the define cost and service conditions. * Stay learned on new and emerging technologies/patterns/methodologies and market offerings that may be of interest to our clients. * Design appropriate data models for the use in transactional and big data environments as an input into Machine Learning processing. * Strong Scala/Python Development Experience is obligatory. * 5-7+ years of Data Engineering experience working with both distributed architectures, ETL, EDW and Big Data technologies. * Experience with Big Data Stack (Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Zookeeper, Yarn), streaming tool - Kafka, orchestration tool - Airflow, Nifi is highly desired. * Demonstrable knowledge & Experience using Google Cloud Big Query is mandatory. * Experience with DataProc & DataFlows on Google Cloud Platform is highly desired. * Go through with DWBI modelling and ingestion framework is highly regarded. * Extensive experience working with SQL across a variety of databases. * Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources using cloud analytics (Cloudera , Hadoop etc.). * Acquaintance with Data Mapping, Modelling and Analytics tools. * Proven ability in one or more of the following programming or scripting languages- Scala, Python, JavaScript, Java, R, UNIX Shell. * Experience with Google Cloud Services such as Streaming + Batch, Cloud Storage, Cloud Dataflow, Data Proc , DFunc, Big Query & Big Table. * Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills and collaboration using Jira, Confluence and other tools. * Excellent written and verbal communication, intellectual curiosity, a passion to understand and solve problems, consulting & customer service.Job tags
