Job description
Responsibilities
Review Pre-Feasibility Study, Feasibility Study, Basic Design, FEED and EPC/ EPCM.+B12:D26 Assistance in the technology evaluation, preparation of technical recommendations etc. Interact with various technology providers, Consultants and Detailed Engineering Contractors. Handling of PFDs, P&IDS, Utility Summaries, Package Specifications, Equipment List. Sizing & Preparation of Process datasheets for vessels, pumps, compressors. Preparation of instrument process data sheets. Evaluation of Electric load calculations. Ensuring process engineering progress with respect to the engineering deliverables as required, process engineering planning and scheduling, preparation of progress reports and forecasting & utilization of resources effectively & efficiently. Review of calculation of Process Equipment to establish their adequacy of design. Ensuring HAZOP, audits and field observation for Chloro-Alkali process. Lead team of process engineers & draftsmen. Ensure coordination among project engineers of all the departments. Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and plant start-up teams. Provide feedback to department Lead on Engineering deliverable schedule/ highlight major concerns at early stage that may delay schedule. Oversee process upgrades and new process system. Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed Institute/ University. Master's degree in the same is preferred.Job tags
