JOB SCOPE
Role : Associate Director, Post Sales Engineering Global Field Organization
- Working closely with the installation leaders in the regions to identify post sales engineering needs and how the Centralized Post Sales team can better support their needs.
- Helping to establish two-way metrics for post sales engineering that will address both quality and financials requirements.
- Provide regular reporting on outcomes and finding solutions to address any needs that arise.
- Helping with communication and awareness of the post sales engineering deliverables and capabilities
- Overseeing global post sales support by connecting the training program used by the regions into the Centralized Post Sales Engineering team to create consistent knowledge both in the Centralized teams and Field Engineers.
- Working to gain efficiencies by harmonizing the engineering standards and processes as much as possible throughout the JCI regions into an Enterprise model.
- Leveraging and enhancing the Centralized Post Sales Support process to improvement efficiencies and drive scale.
- Identifying quick wins and support building a short and long-term strategy that addresses quality, scale, and cost.
- Ensuring the Engineering (post-sales engineering) team is prepared to proactivity support new products and innovations once commercialized.
- Ensuring both the Field Engineering and Centralized Engineering team has a seat at the table on the commercialization of the products and services.
- Standardize and simplify the process between all post sales engineering resources in JCI through Implementation of:
- Sel-Nav for product and labor estimating as well as the management of the engineering tracking and metrics
- Adoption of the Enterprise Engineering standard process flow between the sales teams/pre-sales teams/post-sales team and the global engineering team.
- Driving adoption of Enterprise Engineering systems and processes used by the regional/global engineering team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or similar focus
- Minimum of 15+ years experience in operations, engineering, or similar discipline driving a successful COE Network supporting a large global business
- Strong understanding of post sale engineering practices, process and data driven, and able to drive consistency in complex global situations
- Leadership skills including the ability to operating successful with a matrix organization. Candidate must be able to lead and drive results across the matrix.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and execution capability
