Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PLC Programming Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in programming and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), with specific expertise in working with Siemens, AB (Allen-Bradley), ABB, and Omron PLCs. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in PLC programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PLC programs for various industrial automation projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and translate them into effective PLC programming solutions.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Configure and integrate PLC hardware components, including I/O modules, communication interfaces, and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
  • Collaborate with electrical and control system engineers to design and implement PLC-based control systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to PLC programming and system integration.
  • Conduct system upgrades and modifications as necessary to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients on PLC programming and related matters.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in PLC programming and industrial automation technologies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in PLC programming.
  • Strong expertise in programming and troubleshooting Siemens, AB (Allen-Bradley), ABB, and Omron PLCs.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols, such as Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.
  • Familiarity with HMI programming and SCADA systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and industrial automation principles.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and design documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with clients.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC 61131-3, UL 508A, etc.
