Job description

Tower lead for Infra services - Wintel, storage and Backup, Sr. Systems Administrator with a Windows VMware virtualization, storage, and messaging solutions specialty. The Ideal candidate will possess the ability to influence change within their department and others and identify, propose, and implement best practices. Working within a culturally and geographically diverse IT Operations Team the candidate will oversee the installation and ongoing maintenance of systems, software, and equipment in our datacenters and regional offices with stability and security being the highest priority. To improve efficiencies, scripting, automation, and real-world experience expertise to solve complex problems is equally important. This position requires senior/expert level System Administration skills to ensure infrastructure is deployed, maintained, and configured quickly and efficiently while still adhering to customer’s core infrastructure standards.Part of the Operations and Engineering team responsible for maintaining a globally distributed 24x7x365 private cloud/Datacenter environment. Work experience on VMware, vSAN & Nutanix technology Work experience on Storage devices like HP 3PAR, Azure Blob Work experience on Exchange / M365 Support Work experience on AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS and group policy Work experience in OS 2012 and above Data center experience Good understanding of cloud services (AWS and Azure) Good troubleshooting skills Contribute technical expertise on complex problems, technology selection, solution design, deployment, and maintenance. Dell, HP Server Firmware mgmt.,

Preferred Certifications MCSA/MCSE VMware ITIL Certification Technical Skills _Good to Have SCCM & SCOM Citrix Scripting and automation Monitoring tools knowledge

Role Details Be responsible for managing the customer environment Take escalated calls and resolve the issue Ability to work independently, be adaptable to change and varied working hours (willing to work in 24/7 shift rotation environment.) Individual must be flexible to work for extended hours, if required. Responsible for SLA management Writing\Updating Process manuals Ability to take quick decisions, like when to escalate a ticket to next level and when to continue troubleshooting if issue not resolved within desired TAT Plan, schedule and execute maintenance activity across the infrastructure without any impact. Provide support, and implementation of security policies, compliance, and best practices. Train other technology staff members on system upgrades and rollouts. Prioritize workload and escalate any technical emergencies to the IT Management. Identify, solve, or escalate technical problems identified by clients or internal staff related to business. On-call rotation with the group Fluent English and high oral and written communication skills Proficiency with architectural definition, specification, design, testing and hands on solutions of innovative solutions to solving our business needs. Advanced troubleshooting methodology Hands on experience in debugging and fixing production related problems that are escalated Standard proficiency in Interpersonal skills and Organization Strategy Above Standard proficiency in Leadership, Communications, Motivation, Administration and Organization Knowledge Soft Skills High Integrity Problem solving skills and learning attitude Good communication skills Confident & Energetic Good team management skills Process oriented
