Job description
- The License Administrator is responsible for daily management of operational activities assigned to the Centric software team
- You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of all software orders
- In addition, the Licensing Administrator confirms all orders and fulfills compliance and contract requirements
- The Licensing Administrator provides process improvement recommendations and insight to design processes that meet ongoing needs of customers and a growing business
- Licensing Administrator will also provide direct customer assistance in initiating new agreements and the tasks associated with successfully entitling the customer to consume newly procured licensing
Needs to be able to:
- Manage distribution of new licenses in a timely fashion.
- Track expiration of licenses and follow up with Revenue Operations if a license is about to expire.
- Be trustworthy act only when given authorization to distribute a license. Follow procedures faithfully, take initiative to improve process when necessary.
- Confirm that software products and configurations sold are compliant with Centric s policies and sales orders requirements before fulfilling an order.
- Collaborate with other teams (including Cloud Operations, Sales Ops, Legal and Revenue Operations) to ensure accurate license fulfillment.
- Follow established procedures to purchase products needed for license fulfillment from third-party vendors.
- Proactively respond to customer inquiries and investigate, resolve, or escalate issues promptly for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Manage access to license records and repositories as needed for internal employees.
- Ensure all product documentation sent to the customer is up to date and complies with the order configuration.
- Create and enable customer accounts with the correct order specific products and documentation.
- Exhibit flexibility in a constantly changing environment as there are constant changes to products and fulfillment procedures.
- Log all actions.
Minimum Qualifications
- bachelors degree in business or equivalent experience
- 2-yrs experience with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- 2-yrs customer service experience preferably in a similar role
- Experience with other industry license systems or SaaS and Atlassian products is a plus.
