Role Purpose Statement (Write a brief statement regarding the objective of the position and why it exists):


B2B Ingredient portfolio is one of the strategic focus portfolio’s and a key growth driver for B2B business in India. To make a leading player in this segment it is important to have world class innovation and constant improvements in products on a regular basis. This role is part of the wet category consisting of Whipp Topping, Glazes, Cake Gels, Compound Chocolate etc. to develop best in class - new products and renovate existing products time to time for improved quality, cost, delivery and compete with legendary competitors having large experience in these
segments.

Main Accountabilities (List 6-8 major areas of responsibilities in order of importance, and purpose of these activities:


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (Measurable outcomes that the position contributes to): Number of new products introduced, customer additions, cost reduction etc.
Major Opportunities and Decisions (Describe the more difficult and/or complex challenges or opportunities and decisions faced in doing work, improving processes or meeting customer needs. Where must position focus to be successful?):


Shall be customer centric in balancing product quality, cost, regulatory, operations etc.

Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces (External & Internal):

Application &; Tech Service, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customers etc.
Knowledge and Technical Competencies (Identify knowledge and specific technical competencies to accomplish the desired end results. Some examples are licenses &; certifications and knowledge and abilities):
Basic knowledge of Food Chemistry, Formulations, Processing & Emulsion Technology and Product application (Whip Toppings, Glazes & Decorations, Culinary, Confectionery etc.)
Working knowledge of various macro & micro food ingredients & additives, their role in various food applications, physical and chemical interactions and their safe dosages.
Ability to carry out product, process and packaging development with cost optimization by understanding synergies that exist in various food products & industries
Hands on experience in operating pilot plants & commercial scale operations in whipp topping, glazes, gels, choco & confectionery etc.
Good analytical testing skills.
Working knowledge of Indian Food Laws such as FSSAI, FPO and standards such as Codex
Basic knowledge of food safety, microbiology & process control aspects
Basic knowledge on functional and protective packaging

Education/Experience (Identify types and length of education and experience needed to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to accomplish the desired end results. Some examples are education & training, and years of experience):


Minimum first-class graduate in Food Technology (or) Dairy Technology (or) Chemical Engineering Above 4 years in R&D of Whipp Topping, Glazes, Emulsions etc. from reputed Food Industries.
