Job Description:

As an Exploration Manager at United Exploration India Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing drilling sites to support the company's mining exploration activities. This position requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the mining sector, preferably with a background in Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

• Oversee and manage drilling sites, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with on-site teams to optimize exploration activities and maintain efficient operations.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement exploration plans in alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor and manage drilling programs, ensuring timely completion and within budget.

Experience: Minimum 10 years in the mining sector

Educational Background: Preferably a Mechanical Engineer

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize your expertise in mining exploration techniques and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
• Evaluate and recommend new exploration technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Team Leadership:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of Geologists, Engineers, and Technicians.
• Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work culture among team members.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive reports on exploration activities, including findings, challenges, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of drilling operations.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and local communities to ensure compliance and positive community relations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mining exploration, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven track record of successfully managing drilling operations and exploration projects.
• In-depth knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the mining sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and make informed decisions.
