Regional MarTech Manager - AMEA

Purpose of Role

The MarTech manager will be responsible for leading the overall implementation of MarTech platforms of choice in the AMEA region and relevant BUs (Business units). The MarTech manager will partner with the Regional Mondelēz Digital Services team (MDS), Global Consumer Solutions, Marketing, Media, Analytics, and Platform vendor teams on the implementation of the First Party Data (FPD) flywheel by managing and integrating different elements of the MarTech stack.

Main Responsibilities

MarTech Stack Management

  • Architecture, technology choices:
  • Manage design and implementation of MarTech architecture in compliance with Mondelēz global standards and platform choices.
  • Undertake MarTech infrastructure management and maintenance on a continuous basis.
  • Research and recommend new tech products and partnerships; Identify and sundown the outdated and non-utility products.
  • Execute and contribute to the marketing technology roadmap by matching business needs with existing and upcoming technologies, capabilities, and services.

Partnership management

  • Conduct efficient scouting and due diligence of the vendors.
  • Establish communication and conduct negotiation on key requirements, SLAs, performance and pricing
  • Lead regular reviews on SLA KPIs with technology partners; refresh contracting based on best practices and performance.

Integration and readiness for use:

  • Set up and manage integrations for the CDP and CRM platforms.
  • Enable data capture and integration across digitized and non-digitized sources via the implementation / integration of tools/APIs/connections across sources.
  • Help design and manage data flows through stack all the way from source of engagement/ acquisition to utilization in campaigns.
  • Define regional approach and manage rollout of Digital Shelf and Commerce products.
  • Monitor and review security, data privacy and consent management workflows and compliance of technology products / infrastructure.

Enabling new data led ways of working:

  • Guide business teams on the usage of tech products (e.g., Lytics, HubSpot CRM, Website CMS, GA, Digital Shelf etc.), in collaboration with tech partners
  • Own implementation of the Mondelēz Global tech stack in the region with in-house tech platform leads and contribute to feature prioritization with business impact as a value driver.
  • Manage day-to-day technical challenges and resolve risks, issues and testing with tech vendors.
  • Lead trainings for inhouse teams.

KPIs / Dimensions

  • On-time project delivery, minimize downtime/issues and adherence to SLAs.
  • Infrastructural capability enhancement with timely upgrades to keep up with technology trends and driving cost efficiency with implementations.
  • Deliver business impact through effective collaboration with Regional and Global MDS and BU stakeholders.

Key Skills And Competencies

  • Familiarity with marketing technology tools and vendors (such as Salesforce/ HubSpot/ Braze CRM products, Lytics/ Adobe/ Segment CDP, Google Analytics/site analytics, Sitecore/site content management, Digital Shelf)
  • A passion for understanding the latest in marketing technology and digital marketing.
  • Displays a growth mindset to learn & deliver in ever evolving MarTech landscape.
  • Understands compatibility and complementarity of wide array of MarTech tools.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle and agile project methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset and single-minded focus on results
  • Exhibit organizational agility, creativity, and intellectual capability.
  • Highly collaborative and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong team player, balance of strategic & strong analytical thinking, excellent presentation skills, and experience managing and coaching tech vendors in a rapid growth environment.

Preferred Education And Career Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology. Knowledge of the other skill (marketing or tech) expected to have been developed during work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business-facing, solution-based analyst position in consumer facing businesses – FMCG, Retail, Telecom, Healthcare, Financial services
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Marketing Technology (MarTech) role managing Google/ Adobe/ Salesforce CDP stacks (or similar), working with a CRM platform and third-party data providers
