Cloud and Hosting Infrastructure Architect Educational qualification Graduation (B. Tech., B.E. or BCA) Languages Known: English Area of Expertise Virtualization Clustering technologies Cloud Infrastructure Management DC/DR Management Cloud Security Management System Administration Cloud Architecture and Automation Capacity and scalability planning Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future proof global solutions Interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a leading member of distributed technical teams that deliver quality services. Knowledge of organizational structure of the firm to facilitate work with groups outside of the immediate technical team. Knowledge and experience in IT methodologies and life cycles that will be used. Familiar with infrastructure implementation/management, service/operations management, etc. Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on service offerings and products provided by IT. Other Skills To deliver proof-of-concept types of projects To lead the implementation of projects To define enterprise cloud strategies To analyze application portfolios To develop customer solutions, such as web applications and enterprise applications To identify dependencies and common infrastructure components, and to assess migration feasibility To build on premise solutions for clusters and patterns To evaluate and monitor cloud migration roadmaps, and to drive acceptance across complex organization structures Architecture solutions to meet functional and non-functional infrastructure requirements Create / review of architecture design packages that leverage both DevOps and traditional techniques Review and approve engineering design packages Ensure proper oversight for quality assurance of engineering artifacts Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc. Proactively provide feedback regarding infrastructure engineering methodologies, standards and leading practices Minimize technical exposure and risk on projects Year/s of Experience / Fresher At least 12 years Should be expert in architecture Should be expert subject matter knowledge of their respective domains Prior project experience in the capacity of architects in their respective domains in at least 3 large-scale IT/ITeS projects Note: The ‘large-scale IT/ITeS project’ will refer to projects whose total project value is at least Rs. 10 crores.Job tags
